Will you support St. Margaret’s Hospice during Will Week?

Once again, solicitors throughout Somerset and the Sherborne area are supporting Make a Will Week for St. Margaret’s Hospice from 12-16th September. It is never too early or too late to plan for the future. A will gives you the peace of mind and confidence that those who are important to you are provided for, in the way you would wish, after you are gone.

23 organisations operating from 38 offices are waiving their will-writing fees in return for a donation to St. Margaret’s from their clients.

Rory McFarlane, Head of Private Client at Mogers Drewett said “Mogers Drewett are happy to continue support St Margaret’s Hospice and their Will Week. The charity does so much in the community we are proud to do our bit and give back.”

The suggested donation to St. Margaret’s is £100 for a single will, £150 for a pair of mirror wills and £50 for a codicil to update an existing will.

Corporate Fundraiser Sadie Ellison said; – “Make a Will Week is a vital fundraiser for St. Margaret’s Hospice. As we are not part of the NHS, we need to raise £7.5 million this year to enable us to keep on providing support to patients and their family’s with life limiting conditions, throughout Somerset and the Sherborne area.

All of our services are provided free of charge to patients and their families and the majority of our funding comes from people in the local community. We are extremely grateful to all the firms who support our work during Make a Will Week.”
