    The Renters Reform Seminar - October 10th 2024

    The Renters' Rights Bill proposes sweeping changes to the current Landlord and Tenant legislation.

    We are holding a seminar on to brief landlords and estate agents on the major changes and how it will affect the landlord's duties, the tenant's rights and property possession proceedings.

    Our Dispute Resolution team of John Osman, John Grace and Harry Durston, who have significant experience in dealing with residential property disputes, tenant disputes and, in particular, proceedings will be hosting the seminar.

    The topics of discussion include:

    • The current Section 8 and Section 21 Process
    • The proposed reform to possession proceedings
    • The new duties on landlords
    • Awaab's Law
    • Enforcement and investigatory framework

    There will be a selection of sandwiches at the venue and a chance for some networking before and after the talk.
