Quality Marks Deliver Essential Peace of Mind for Clients
Two recent Law Society audits offer clients peace of mind having successfully returned re-accreditations for essential quality marks.
John Grace, the solicitor responsible for Risk & Compliance at Mogers Drewett has confirmed the successful outcome of two recent audits by The Law Society.
As a result of the systematic examination of our operations the firm has maintained its quality marks for best practice and client service in critical areas impacting areas of significant importance for individuals and families.
John Grace commented, “These accreditations are further proof of the high standards of client care and the great service that Mogers Drewett provides its clients. These are difficult accreditations to obtain and show the hard work put in by everyone in the residential and probate departments to reach the required levels for these accreditations.”
The Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS) accreditation is a best practice quality mark for wills and estate administration advice.
WIQS accreditation ensures that a law firm has put in place appropriate processes, training and measures to protect clients interests in sensitive matters involving wills and estate management.
This quality mark ensures that a solicitor,
- has the expertise to deliver wills and inheritance advice
- uses standardised processes to recognise and reduce risks
- educates clients about what to expect when seeking professional wills and inheritance advice
- and maintains its awareness of risk through the delivery of training to those involved in service delivery
The Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) is also a recognised quality standard for regulated firms but specifically those offering services related to residential property matters.
CQS accreditation requirements set out the standards of competence, risk management and client service levels expected of practices involved in residential property matters.
This includes providing evidence of:
- the expertise to deliver quality residential conveyancing advice
- the application of standardised processes to manage and reduce risks
- transparency in client communications through clear explanations detailing what to expect when paying for conveyancing advice
CQS demonstrates that Mogers Drewett can provide residential conveyancing advice of the level expected by:
- clients
- lenders
- all organisations involved in the delivery, evaluation and compliance of residential conveyancing matters
It is strongly recommended that clients seek out legal practices with these accreditations as they apply solely to law firms that are already authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). Having these quality marks reassures clients and delivers peace of mind.
