Mogers Drewett strengthens team with Associate promotions
Mogers Drewett, the West Country based law firm with offices in Bath, Sherborne, Wells and Frome, has further strengthened its team with the promotion of three members of staff to the position of Associates. The three promotions specifically strengthen the firm’s Family, Private Client, and Commercial Property teams.
Cara Burr, who has been with the firm for 23 years, is now Associate Chartered Legal Executive – Private Client, looking after administration of estates, wills, powers of attorney, court of protection and elderly client work. Cara qualified as a legal executive in 2007. Victoria Strode becomes Associate Solicitor – Family, working between the Bath and Wells offices and advising on all aspects of private family law including financial matters with particular interest in farming cases. Victoria also frequently deals with Children Act applications such as applications for child arrangement orders and removal from jurisdiction cases. Victoria has also recently trained as a family mediator. Ben Lucy becomes Associate Solicitor – Commercial Property, dealing with buying and selling commercial and industrial land and units, tenant work, development work, and corporate real estate assistance.
“Mogers Drewett enjoys a strong reputation for legal services within the region,” says Cara Burr. “Having been with the firm for so long, I have seen how that reputation has been built on the highest levels of dedication and commitment by the professionals within the firm. Victoria, Ben and I are delighted to assume our new positions and look forward to helping build on the firm’s success.”
Speaking about the promotions Steven Treharne, Managing Partner of Mogers Drewett said, “The firm is going from strength to strength and we have a comprehensive footprint across the region, and a range of services ideally suited to the needs of the region. To service that growth we are delighted to be able to grow our teams from within and congratulate our three new associates on their promotions.”
