Mogers Drewett Launches Foodbank & Cash Donation Collection Points
Mogers Drewett Announces Foodbank & Cash Donation Collection Points In All Office Locations
As the festive season begins, it’s the perfect time to reflect on how we can give back to our community. Inspired by Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, which highlights the importance of essential resources like food and shelter, Mogers Drewett is once again setting up foodbank collection points for clients and staff to donate non-perishable goods.
This year, we’re going further by directly supporting local foodbanks in the communities where each of our offices are based:
Bath: For several years, we’ve proudly supported the Genesis Trust foodbank. Their remarkable work continues to make a difference, and we’re excited to team up with them again to bring aid to those who need it most.

Wells: In partnership with Old Mill, we’re donating to Wells Storehouse Foodbank. The Storehouse, which became an independent charity in May 2024, has seen a surge in demand due to the challenging economic climate. Previously known as Wells Vineyard Foodbank and now new in name, the Storehouse’s dedicated team provides the same essential services from the same location, serving those in need with food and compassion.

Sherborne: Since 2011, Sherborne Food Bank has been run by volunteers who help feed individuals and families in crisis throughout the Parish of Sherborne, Dorset. With 80+ volunteers collecting, sorting, shopping for essentials, and delivering food parcels, the organization serves a wide, largely rural area. For those in isolated locations without access to transport, the Food Bank’s delivery service is a lifeline.

Frome: In Fair Frome, food parcels are carefully curated to provide up to six days of nourishment, alongside extras, thanks to partnerships with local agencies and food initiatives across the South West. Referrals from health professionals, schools, and support services ensure that food reaches the people who need it most.

This season, let’s come together to make a difference. Whether it’s a can of soup, a bag of pasta, or a jar of peanut butter, every donation counts. Non-perishable food items are essential to keeping our local foodbanks stocked, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.
Here’s how you can help:
- Drop off your donations: Visit any of our office locations in Bath, Wells, Sherborne, or Frome and leave your non-perishable goods at our foodbank collection points. From canned goods to dried foods, everything you give will make a difference.
- Spread the word: Share this initiative with family, friends, and colleagues. Together, we can amplify our impact and reach more people in need.
- Follow our e-newsletter: For every sign up, we will continue to donate to each of the foodbanks!
Let’s give back this festive season and help lift up our communities. Every single contribution brings us closer to making a meaningful difference for families in need. We are also accepting cash donations at each location – look out for our cash collection tins in each office.
