Dyne Drewett Solicitors supports local charity
The staff at Dyne Drewett Solicitors have chosen a charity to help raise awareness and donations to support their cause. Instead of sending the usual Christmas cards, the staff at Dyne Drewett held an online vote to donate £300 to charity. The charity that was selected was Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
Rebecca Beresford, Director at Dyne Drewett Solicitors said “We view the service offered by the Air Ambulance as vital to the needs of the community and are very proud to be associated with it.”

Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance are a registered charity, established to provide relief from sickness and injury for the people of Dorset and Somerset, by the provision of an air ambulance. They receive no direct funding from the Government or the National Lottery and rely entirely on the generosity of the public for support. Their operational costs are £1.7 million a year, which equates to over £2,500 per mission.
They operate a Eurocopter EC135 helicopter from the airbase at Henstridge on the Dorset/Somerset border. From there, they can be at any point in the two counties within 19 minutes. More importantly, the helicopter can then take a patient to any one of the Major Trauma Centres in the south west within a further 20 minutes.
