New Lead Partner appointed at Mendips division
Mogers Drewett has appointed Tom Chiffers as Lead Partner for its Wells office. Tom’s primary role will concentrate on business development and market presence for the firm in the local area.
Having previously managed the Trust team in the Mogers Drewett Bath division since April 2013, Tom will look to build on the success that has already been achieved to date in Wells. His role additionally continues to oversee the trust advice and administration team, who help with the day-to-day running of the trusts.
Tom has said of the move: “I am excited and delighted to be relocating to the Wells office and look forward to supporting the growth and development of the team. Working with the team, my primary focus will be on business development and increasing the breadth of our presence in the Mendip market with the ultimate goal of making Mogers Drewett the best provider of legal services in the area. As a local boy, it also represents somewhat of a homecoming for me and I cannot wait to get started.”
In addition to his primary role, Tom also advises on the creation, administration and completion of existing trusts and deals with the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). His particular speciality lies in the transfer of farms and businesses to the next generation.
