Nine lawyers from West Country law firm listed as leaders in their field

No less than nine lawyers from Bath-based legal firm Mogers Drewett have been named as leaders in their field in the 2016 edition of the Chambers UK Guide – the legal profession’s ‘bible’.

The lawyers named are Victoria Strode (Family & Matrimonial), Rebecca Silcock (Family & Matrimonial), David Hill (Private Client), Nicola Owen (Private Client), Jonathan Cheal (Agriculture & Rural Affairs), Richard Pinney (Agriculture & Rural Affairs), Maeve England (Litigation), Tom Webb (Corporate & M&A), and Sean McDonough (Employment).

Steven Treharne, managing partner at Mogers Drewett, said: “I am delighted that our nine representatives have been recognised in the Chambers Guide. We have never previously had this many of our staff listed, so it is a great achievement. Not only does it illustrate our legal ability, the superior practical advice that we provide, and our in depth understanding of our client’s issues and objectives, it also underlines the breadth of the firm’s expertise.

“At Mogers Drewett we strive to provide a superior service in as many fields as possible, and as a firm we pride ourselves on the strength and professionalism of our service. The fact that nine of our lawyers have been named as leaders in their field is proof of the success of that strategy and the commitment of our staff.”

Published every October, the Guide covers 50 cities and counties in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Entries are free and no lawyer can pay to be listed, with law firms annually invited to help the Guide’s researchers by submitting a list of clients who may be contacted for an insight into how a firm performs.
